Ultraviolet.t

In 2022, I began working with the Biel/Bienne-based feminist collective Ultraviolet.t, which wanted to create a website with two key objectives. Firstly, to bring together all previously produced podcasts in one place, thereby providing a platform to share future content. Secondly, to offer a dedicated space where people could follow the collective’s activities and tune into live broadcasts, in particular the main livestream planned for the feminist demonstration on 14 June 2022.

The initial version of the site, designed by the collective’s graphic designer, looked great on desktop but wasn’t originally designed with mobile use in mind. Despite my efforts to adapt it, the site remained difficult to navigate on smaller screens. In 2023/24, we decided to completely rethink the design to make it more user-friendly across all devices. Working collaboratively and drawing on my expertise, we reassessed various aspects of the existing site and significantly improved its usability.
